The AGFC intensively manages the elk in the area this land is surrounded by the benefits of it. Owner has done numerous jobs for AGFC and has mimicked some of that work on this land. This was operated as a Wildlife club in the 60's and 70's for guests to hunt and experience the Ozarks life. A very special piece of the Ozarks for sure. The club had a resort that harvested water from a spring for the hotel and restaurant. The spring is still very active the resort is long gone
